Event information

Join us each week for a run around Perth’s iconic river loop. Monday night offers our longest run of the week, our signature 11km route (yes, we know we call it a 10km run… we may have stretched the truth a little).

Everyone is welcome to set their own pace. Expect some members to push ahead while others take their time, it’s only ever a race against yourself. Even if the 11km distance isn't for you, there are plenty of options to do your own run or walk - whether that's shorter, longer, faster, slower, or somewhere in between. The route can easily be adapted into 3km, 6km or 8km options.

We'll all start together and finish back outside Little Creatures Elizabeth Quay at around 6:30pm.

Once everyone has arrived back, if there's a critical mass keen to continue the social side of things, we'll head into Little Creatures afterwards for a beverage and a chat.

Join our Monday crew WhatsApp group chat to keep in the know of any last minute changes, in our WhatsApp Community HERE. [Note: by joining this Whatsapp group, your number will be displayed to anyone in in it]

A few notes:

  • In the summer months, the evenings are usually hot and sunny. Please hydrate throughout the day and bring a bottle of water along. There are some drink fountains on the run course, but they are limited.
  • In the winter months, the sun sets earlier and the lighting on the course can be patchy. Consider bringing some sort of running light (phone light, head torch etc).
  • If you are attending (especially for the first time) let us know on the WhatsApp group chat so we can look out for you.

We believe sports should be accessible to everyone, especially those with disabilities. See accessibility notes below.

For public transport options to the event, check our TransPerth's JOURNEYPLANNER.
